Coates Walled Garden

The old walled garden of Coates House was neglected and overgrown when new owners took on the property in 2019. They wished for it to be restored as a kitchen garden with a new traditional glasshouse, vegetable beds and a meadow of fruit trees. The design has brought these elements together with nature-led planting, woodland edibles and naturalistic, ornamental perennials.

We are currently in the fifth year of development.
