My background is in Fine Art. After completing a Post Grad at the Slade School of Art in 1996, I realized a number of site-specific artworks about our public surroundings. Moving from London to Glasgow in 2001, I developed my interest in working with the natural environment alongside establishing a career as a TV & Film Art Director.

 

I do many kinds of outdoor planting projects, from designing private gardens to collaborative public site projects. The main direction in my garden design work is creating schemes where plants intermingle to reflect nature and form a connection to the surrounding landscape. An integral part of my approach is sustainability, supporting biodiversity and  focusing on locally suitable planting .
